_834v5010generator - resuming project
Maybe it is because it is Open Enrollment where I work, and I am getting inundated with questions where sample 834 code would give people answers, or that, since I am already extremely busy 'now!' is what my brain told me for this project, or, that some advice I have read online says, basically, 'there is never a good time, so to get something done, just work on it.'
So...
I've resumed working on my _834v5010 generator project. For now, going to focus on the Model, Controller, and TextWriter. Will probably write test scripts to exercise them, and not work on the GUI at all for now.
Will be using C++ and leverage any GNU v3 license compatible libraries and programs I find help move things along.
Once I have a 'back-end' that is vetted with 'enough' functionality to generate a basic 834v5010 enrollment file, then will work on the GUI.
Lastly, once I have chunks of working code, will upload them on the http://mrflash818.geophile.net website. If the project ever generates collaborative interest from others then maybe it will eventually end up on github or some such.
