I found out my placement for next year. Forsythe Middle School in Ann Arbor. Right after writing about how much I hated the middle school Conxion customers. Gosh. I'm excited and nervous about it. I have heard that middle schoolers are extra challenging but also that the experience has helped people get jobs. I'm sort of happy about it being in Ann Arbor because I will probably get a good amount of sleep but I am kind of regretting that I didn't sign up for Detroit. All I know about this is that the CT's name is Deborah White and that creepy myspace guy was assigned to her also.
I made an un-friend today. This kid was in my colloquiem class from hell last fall. I tried to make conversation about it today and he kind of blew me off. Then walking through the Law Quad after class today I tried to make conversation about how silly my biographical sketch is going to sound. He said that he thought that it was a good opportunity to be creative. So I said something else about how mine will be stupid. And then he went "pffft" and started walking faster. I was just using the tried and true method of making friends in college---complaining about assignments. He "pffffffffftttt" me! I didn't need his old man dress slacks and briefcase self anyhow.
The baseball game was great. Our "standing room" sucked. It was already full when we got in there. We probably could have stood on the main level if some people hadn't had trouble with ticketmaster and couldn't get tickets. They were terribly weird and would not just give up on the will call line that I was in. Finally after the poor will call girl spoke with ticketmaster on the phone and couldn't do anything, the younger guy (son perhaps) yelled/sputtered "gggggget yourrrrrr headdddddd outta yur aaaaassss". I laughed for about ten minutes.
