What I Am Watching on My Computer via DVD Menu Page Pix
Specifically, I'm watching Night of the Living Dead for the 10th time. Without the benefit of barbecue, dammit. I always try to have barbecue on hand while watching NotLD. This DVD came with the horror movie poster calendar in my office. Last month I watched The Brain That Wouldn't Die. It was... weird. Cheesy scifi/horror, yes, but around mid-film it turns into this burlesque queen catfight fetish video.
Onward and upward with NotLD, still the best of the series, I think. And believe me, I love Dawn of the Dead. This, to me, however, is the quintessential zombie film. Ordinary humans versus lumbering zed-words, before everyone started toting bazookas and chainsaws and building zombie-mushing bulldozer-juggernauts.
