Leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping
Caught the flu recently, and man I won't ever wait to get my flu shot again. I barely missed the last flu shot by a few hours this year and really paid for it. From Wednesday through Saturday I was freezing, burning, coughing up my lungs, had fevers ranging from 100.1 to 104, and got possibly two hours of sleep that entire time. I went to the doctor Saturday morning with my parents (there's no way I could go on my own, I was too out of it from sleep deprivation) and got a prescription filled. Luckily the cough syrup has codeine in it, so Saturday night I was able to sleep. I've never been so happy to be able to sleep.
