(no subject)
wow... what a very cool weekend its been. totally random, my dad asks me if i want to go down to our family farm, in clay city, ky... if everyone has ever heard of it. its past lexington and winchester if that gives you an idea. so we go down there and we started out around 10:00 at night. so we get there at about 12 or 12:30, the time when the party starts at our family reunions. now my family is like no other.. its so very cool down there. we have our own big lake, and our own little world down there. i see people i havent seen for about 3 years, and some i've never seen, but they sure do know me.
i found out i have a cousin that played at the superbowl, he played the trumpet in high school. thats pretty cool if you ask me. but my family is really crazy. about every night they get alcohol out and totally go crazy. they dont get really drunk, they just get silly. its fun... and my cousin came back from iraq in like january, its awesome... hes pretty cute too. wow i cant believe i just said that.
so anywho... i got to talk to my cousins myra and jack... they just lost their son from cystic fibrosis, only one month before he was going to turn 21. that was just sad. and they have a memorial up there for him because his ashes were spread up on the point there.i totally cried when i went to go look at the memorials of the brashears and crawfords that were made at the point. my dad didnt know it..
we went 4 wheeling at one point, that was really awesome. i got to see almost everything in the farm. where my dad used to raise the cattle, and i got to see where my uncle I.C. and his 2 brothers were raised. everything their just amazes me... things built forever ago still are standing. even the first house lived on on the property. if i can get some pictures from our family site ill put em on here.
so i have to say i love my dads family. their so fun to be around. i had the best time this weekend, i really did. i never think about anything when im down there, besides a few.
and now i have patricks mom on my mind. i totally hope she gets better. i cant believe it all happened. im totally calling patrick tommorow.
i love everyone. this week im doing vacation bible school with my mom and i have to dress up, its gonna be great. so if anyone wants to see me look stupid, come to my church this week.
