Grumble.
I need to have my car checked out by a dealer because my "service engine soon" light has been on for a few months, and in the last week or so the engine's been getting hotter than it should, faster than it should. So I call the closest dealer. They need to make appointments about two weeks in advance. I don't know my work schedule more than a week and a half in advance. I tried to explain my situation and he laughed at me. The fuck.
I called another dealer, and he's not as badly booked (and also not an asshole), so if I call him on a Tuesday (when they post the schedule at work) I'll have a chance. And here I thought the expense would be what I have to worry about.
