Movies

The continuing list of all the movies we've rented and what we thought of them (in order of return date)

Netflix's 5 star rating system: 1="Hated it," 2="Didn't like it," 3="Liked it," 4="Really liked it," 5="Loved it"

5/31 The Bob Newhart Show: Season 2: Disc 1 "Really liked it"

5/30 Star Trek: The Original Series: Vol. 15-18 "Really liked it"
We've gotten into the second season of Star Trek, and it's starting to lose momentum. This clump had some particularly painful bad writing. But a nice bit of redeeming value: murderous Piglet.

5/23 Peep and the Big Wide World: Peep Floats "Liked it"

5/23 The Fly / The Fly 2 "Liked it"
We didn't bother watching The Fly 2.

5/17 Zoolander "Liked it"
That "liked it" is from froggy_dear. I thought it was terrible.

5/16 Star Trek: The Next Generation: Season 1: Disc 1 "Liked it"
This is much cornier than I remember it being when I was short. I'm wondering if the show improves in later seasons, or if my memory of the entire thing is sideways.

5/15 The Best of The Electric Company: Disc 1 "Liked it"
It's kind of tedious to watch an entire DVD worth of learning-to-read in one sitting, but still well worth watching. And Bill Cosby is damn funny.

5/12 Sesame Street: What's the Name of That Song "Didn't like it"
The only reason we got this is because the "Pinball Number Count" cartoon is one of the bonus features. The "movie" isn't watchable, but they've got it set up so that any classic sketches buried in it are at the start of chapters, so you can just skip through and watch the good bits.

5/10 Kiki's Delivery Service "Didn't like it"
Really, really boring.

5/9 Ren & Stimpy: Seasons 1 and 2: Disc 1 "Liked it"

(continued from here)
