(no subject)
I dropped off a bunch of stuff at the Baca St Goodwill today, and while I was there I picked up some new stuff to fill the void in my heart left by the old stuff. List: A Gameboy, which had a copy of Tetris plugged into it, a USB video game controller, to help protect my wrists while playing Zelda: The Minish Cap, a bag of 3 Playstation controllers, one of which is PS2, and a wireless trackball and possibly compatable IR doohicky for said trackball. Cost: $5. So far the gameboy + tetris works, as does the USB controller. I haven't tried the other stuff yet.
Last night I went out for cocktails with Lia and Minori, but after a dirty martini at St. Francis and a rum and coke at El Paseo (or as Minori dubbed it "El Pubbo") I nearly fell asleep in my potato skins. Minori was even more tired then I was, and coffee at the Atomic didn't really help. I feel like an old man.
D&D on Friday went far too late again. It was pretty good, though. Wrapped up a neat side-quest with some solid plot developments.
