Well, I'm coming up on the end of my first semester at The College of Santa Fe. Yeah, okay, it's been fine. I'm only occasionally hit by the irritating bug telling me that I should've done this years ago. Uh-huh, yeah. Or maybe I shouldn't have done this at all. I guess this is still a hell of a lot better then the alternative of working for no real money at a job I am no longer wildly in love with. Well, no, not really. I'm pretty happy with my situation, actually. I might end up taking a part-time job at the Dept. of Transportation, but that feels like something I can cope with. Yeah, I know, but this is different from when I worked there five-years ago and hated it/myself.

I finally located a song I've been trying to find on my own damn hard drive for months. I couldn't remember the name of the band or the song, just the chorus. The song is "Choose My Battles" by Add Music. (You can download it here if you like catchy indie-pop.) It is a very good song, and I am happy to have it back in my rotation.

It would appear I am incapable of doing meaningful work on the weekends, no matter how bored I seem to be.
