Yes, I think this rocks. Tutorial starts this week. Where did my summer go? Did YOU steal it? You jerk.
I've been working those ten hour days getting the school ready. There's a cat hanging around Tutorial that is either pregnant, or has just recently had kittens. She's extremely sweet. We're not really sure what to do. There was a cat, probably the same one, who used to give birth every year in the crawlspace. Nobody ever saw these kittens, but we would hear them mewling from under the floor boards around the school. After they left, we plugged up the holes around the foundation one year, and since then we've been plagued with mice everywhere. Without easy access to a safe space to give birth, our Darwinian pest control has left. The guy who's currently living on campus has started feeding the stray cats in the area, though, which has reactivated our most favored nation status among felines. This presents an interesting problem. We can't keep a cat at the school, because several students are allergic, and that wouldn't be very nice to them, but we're really sick of cleaning up mountains of mouse poop. I guess it'll be a good lesson for the kids, which is good because I don't have any ideas. Hurray for democratic schooling.
