I am, apparently, remarkably consistent/Wesley Snipes-esque

Before we begin, I just want to say that today is my first day back to work after a week off, and within 30 minutes I was already planning an arson. God damn it I hate these people.

Now, on to our tale:

Yesterday, Raymond and Sierra signed me in to Disneyland, which was a lovely time. I haven't been there in years, so there were a few new things there (Finding Nemo submarines, "World of Color" watershow) and some unexperienced old things (Great Moments with Mr Lincoln). Sadly, perennial Kyle-fav the Haunted Mansion was closed due to preparing for their "Nightmare Before Christmas" thing, and Star Tours was closed because they decided they wanted it to be awful and involve pod races. But I digress. Still a fun day.

Raymond and I bought some margaritas in California adventure, and as we sat there enjoying our frosty beverages, I see this girl walk by into the restrooms. She's wearing a very cute blue dress with these orange-ish stockings, and it's just very lovely and fashionable. Granted, I only saw her from the back, but I thought she was cute. Dressed cute, at least. And I make up my mind that she'll probably have to walk out right past us again, and I'll compliment her, because I need to work on stuff like that. I have a mental block re: initiation conversations with folks, especially ladies, and a quick compliment of a cute outfit would be easy enough. So, we're standing there, and when she walks out I think "you've got to be fucking kidding me." Turns out, it's a girl I "know." Let me explain.

The more stalker-y of you may remember a while back, there was this gal on OKCupid I messaged who was pretty cute, had good taste, etc. Which, of course, means she only really replied to me once and then just stopped. In that one response, she said that she had come into my work once, and I had asked her what she was listening to on her iPod. I said "well, at least I'm consistent with the girls I try to talk to." A week or so later, this dude I know tells me "hey, I have this cute TA I think you'd be into." He sends me a picture and, of course, it's that same girl from OKCupid. So, guess who it was walking out of the bathroom at California Adventure at Disneyland? Yes. Same chick. I may be mistaken, but she may have diverted her eyes when she saw me as she walked past. Que sera.
