Ba ba ba bored!

This weekend was kind of lonely.

Most of the time I’m required to be in Pittsburgh over the weekends, but this was one of those occasions where Jason couldn’t let me crash at his place... I’m planning to leave for the Steelers early Sunday morning.

No one was around to hang out with and I didn’t want to go to the Coney, so I just finished my Jose Canseco book and exercised. I thought it would be a good idea to walk to the Indiana Mall from my apartment. It’s a 3 mile hike each way, so it would definitely give me a decent workout. I’ve created an incentive to make things more interesting….. I’m going to buy myself a new DVD every time I lose an increment of 20 pounds. Not too bad eh?

I saw the Exorcism of Emily Rose at the movie theater tonight and it was pretty damn freaky. I won’t lie to you that I was kind of spooked trekking through the unlit back roads after it was over. It’s based on a true story, so it gave me goose bumps just thinking about it. Heh…. Yeah, I’m a big wussy.

My new roommate is a total slob. He’s by far the dirtiest person I have ever lived with. My goal this year was to have my house look somewhat decent, but it’s becoming a problem. When he cooks stuff, he puts the leftover perishable food on the counter… and just leaves it there. He fired up my brand new grill and left partially eaten hamburgers, used plates, open chips and dirty utensils lying on the porch a whole day after he was finished. He’ll also have unfinished foodage just lying around the house. It’s gross and it’s been attracting bugs and even rodents. I spoke to him twice about it already and the landlord knows about the situation, but I can’t force him to do anything. I’m not gonna clean it up either because it’s not my job and I don’t wanna be like his mother. A few nights ago, Adam had a few of his female friends over and I heard them complaining about the horrible smell. I sort of laughed because I knew it wasn’t because of me, and it sounded like he was extremely embarrassed. If things get worse, I’ll start to put his dirty items in his room (because I have already been nice). We’re adults here, so if you make a mess, you should clean it up.

Classes are going ok, but I’m still waiting to hear from the Dean of the Physical Education Department. They are trying to determine whether or not I can substitute required math courses and graduate early. It’s looking good, but again IUP has a way of being two faced to get more of my money.
