Wonthaggi's desalination plant better have somewhere for kids to play in because there seems to be precious little else to do in the area. I saw more teenage mums than I thought possible, and all certainly wearing very, very inappropriate clothing. (Honey, you're just not the thin little thing you used to be.) And while some may be bemoaning Just Bieber's haircut inspiring today's youth to look more androgynous, on most kids it ends up making them look like that fat kid on Two and a Half Men.
I have finally seen The Room, a film reaching near the pinnacle of bad films. Tommy Wiseau takes credit for writing, directing, financing and starring in what appears to be a stage play scrupulously shifted across to the screen. But to describe anything that happens in the plot would be to defy understanding of the whole, and both propositions are impossible. Dozens of subplots revolve (well... not really revolve... more flitter about and then abruptly die) around Johnny's future wife, Lisa, a broad-nosed blonde who shamelessly seduces his best friend. Seriously, I have tried three times to explain the plot here with any more detail than this and have utterly failed. This film is like the Matrix; you just have to experience it for yourself. I think I need to see it again.
