So what does it mean when you dream that your chest of drawers has sprung a leak? At first it was only a trickle, but as I pulled out more of what had once been dry clothes it turned into something I would describe as... more gushy than trickly.
Let's analyse!
Water = emotions. Well, that was easy. Clear water, as this was, indicates purity. Excellent. Now my pure emotions are all over my well-ironed shirts. Why was I even keeping shirts in my chest of drawers anyway? I hang them up in the cupboard.
Clothing = status. It's my outward appearance! Not particularly lucky - according to gypsies - because they weren't colourful. So my unfortunate outward appearance is sullied by my pure emotions. But what about the chest of drawers?
Chest of drawers = umm? I guess it could be interpretted as a cupboard, right? Kinda. It is awfully specific after all. I think we can all agree that you put things in both chest of drawers and cupboards, something hidden away. Therefore... I've hidden my emotions and my outward appearance, but oh no! Emotions are spilling out! And in trying to save my outward appearance I'm only spilling more emotions until my outward appearance is ruined!
There is a lesson in this for us all. Never share anything. You will only get wet.
