(no subject)
Perhaps it's just one of those things that happens when you take your laptop in for servicing... they find nothing wrong with it and give it back to you. I'm hoping that all the problems have miraculously gone away too. Fortunately the place is only 5 minutes away, and the girl at the service desk is very cute (although has a strange predilection for the late Steve Erwin).
Nanowrimo is on again. I've briefly checked in to the forums and the chat room. I've found that all the same people are in the chat room as last year. Like us and nanodrinkies, I just don't think they stopped going. Good form them, I say.
Still working on my website and my resume. My mum has had a look over it and has some ideas. The idea that the IT industry was small and incestuous amused me, because while it may be a little that way, most everyone is all over the place. If I was more on the incestuous side, I'd have more contacts and would probably be out quicker. Speaking of work, my boss is talking of all the new projects that are upcoming. I feel a little guilty for not yet telling him of my plans to leave. We'll see how that turns out when he accuses me of stabbing them through the back. :)
