Damn.
I've found out that the mac lappy I thought I'd got for free a coupla years ago... well, I actually did pay for it. Same goes for the trip to New Zealand a coupla years before that. It turns out that work had been taking money out of my pay for tax-free purchases, which include flights overseas and computers. I'm not sure whether to damn them or be disappointed that I deluded myself into thinking I got something for nothing. I kinda knew it was happening, but I just forgot about it.
On the plus side, I think I need to buy myself a really impressively large monitor. Perhaps two of them.
Really wished I'd slept in this morning. My brain isn't really working that well. Come the afternoon I'll be sleeping at my desk.
