I'm sure these late nights are going to screw up my internal clock. Although considering how resilient it is to change I can't see it lasting. Oh well.
Lauren came around for dinner and the watching of Wizard People. Perhaps a little too... offbeat for her, but I thoroughly enjoyed it once again. Michallef was also watched. He's hilarious. (This was a boring paragraph.)
Once again I had a major, major headache after playing squash on Saturday morning. I really need to learn how to hydrate myself better because this is really sucking. I went around to my uncle's to return the tent and tried to figger out how his strange new PVR/VCR/DVD recorder worked (and didn't work). The instructions... well they leave something to be desired. They're not badly translated from Chinese, which I suppose is something, but they're still kinda crap. Went for a ride around Albert Park Lake (as my headache got progressively worse, but I felt rude to say no considering my presence on the couch and being constantly fed).
That night, Beej and Katie served up a mean chicken (It had teeth. Teeth! Okay, maybe not that mean) and we had a few drinks (well, they had a few drinks. I had my headache for company already) over UpWords (which I sucked at. How did I end up with all the obscure letters of the alphabet?) and video games (I suck!). We ended up playing some car racing game which, due to unforseen programming, became the funniest thing ever. I think we cacked ourselves for half an hour (while the pressure on my brain forced me to leave the room). I'm considering descending into madness and buying one myself.
Today: I utilise my newfound DVD burning abilities for good and not evil, for success and not failure. And I probably play squash because I just don't learn my lesson.
