GAY ZANGOMA LOVE HITS THE ROCKS!
Two gay zangoma who fell in love and got legally married in 2008 are now about to break up!
Their marriage was all love and roses until one of them, Mthuthuzeli Meyi (45) of Marselle, near Port Alfred, found a new lover. He told Daily Sun. “Our marriage has failed and I want a divorce so that I can marry my new lover”
But, Masixole Jafta (21) of KwaNobnule in Uitenhage said he is not ready for a divorce and still love Meyi, even though he too is dating someone else.
“I love my husband and will not divorce him’” he said.
But Mthuthuzeli is determined to go ahead with the divorce. He told Daily Sun;
“Please help I want to divorce my wife Masixole now. The court sheriffs want to serve him with divorce papers but he runs away.
The last time I saw him was last year in the Alexandria Magistrates Court when I applied for the divorce. I don’t want him anymore. He made my life miserable. And my clients and mother were not happy with him.
His behaviour was affecting my ancestral work. He is very rude and very jealous. During out Intlombe he would humiliate me and he never wanted to see me talking to other people, especially to men.
Because he was my wife, I trained him to be a sangoma and spent all my money on him because he comes from a poor family (Masi - you bloody gold-digger - you should be ashamed)
I saw him last year at the court when I was applying for a divorce. The magistrate told him to sign the divorce papers because it’s all over between us. I have found a new lover and we are planning to get married before the end of the year.”
