BAGGINS THE BOOKCROSSING BULLDOG

Jan 30, 2010 22:42

Early this morning I was preparing some books for Bookcrossing wild release, registering some, pasting stickers, the usual things bookcrossers do to feed this strange affliction. In the process I made a little mistake.

I have this dog, his name is Baggins Gandalf of Noble Look, and I used his name in vain when choosing a name for my Bookcrossing and Live Journal sites. He sleeps on a couch next to the desk in my study. That is HIS bed, HIS couch which has two special covers that are washed and changed weekly.

The mistake I made is putting the books ready to be released on HIS couch before taking them to the car. He decided it was time for an early morning snooze and promptly made himself comfortable on HIS bed….between the books. I’m sorry Baggy, I won’t interfere with your space again.

The books have all been released in Jozi this morning, and I remain the only active bookcrosser in this city.

Strange but true.
