SANTA'S WORKSHOP

Oct 22, 2009 14:55

In the spirit of the upcoming season of good cheer, happiness, joy, peace,  and all suchlike I thought I'll share with you a little snippet I found in an old "Vanity Fair" floating through the office.

Isn't fun to know Christmas is 'round the corner?

That happy time when Santa in his merry red suit and flowing white beard will try selling everything and anything to you in television ads: washing detergent, lawn movers, white appliances, foodstuffs, insecticides, pesticides, matricide, patricide, suicide and the odd toy manufactured in some sweatshop in China by slave labourers that have never even heard about Christmas.

Vanity Fair also addresses man's other great concern, the specter of Global Warming which have become such an err.....Inconveniant Truth.

Clever ain't it?
