i dunno. As long as the tat isn't off the wall, there is no reason to critique it besides artistic problems (filling, shading et al). It obviously means enough to those guys to get that done. I mean, shit, i've got the columbian coffee logo on my leg, am i assinine and pathetic? I don't tend to think so.

I've been a fan of their site for years myself. And, I've got tattoos myself, but the idea of getting an MTV or Intel logo tattoo is, to me, on the same level of genius as wearing a t-shirt that reads: "I'm with stupid" and an arrow pointing to the person next to you.

I see it as something that must be important to them. If one guy really liked the idea of an "mtv generation" or whatever, then that's his perrogative (sp). And i'm pretty sure the guy with the intel logo is a computer engineer or something along those lines (www.slashdot.com had something on it i think).

I think that's a good idea, but imagine if in the future, Intel or MTV cease to exist (unlikely). I don't know, i'm in favor of people flyin' the flag about whatever the hell they are into, but getting a tattoo of a brand name and/or logo is kinda...out there? A computer chip would be far cooler, anyway.

like i said, i can't argue their ideas too much. I've got one logo with a possibility of more (the good to the last drop logo from maxwell house and some others).

like i said, as long as it's not flash art, i won't comment negatively on it. i'm weird though.
ps. BME is a great site. I did a semester long project on bodmod in high school and BME was a great source. i still check it at least twice a week.
