Ugh.  The last couple of weeks have not been good, from a gaming point of view.

The deployment of our new computer has been further delayed.

I wrote Thursday about getting rescheduled for 5pm Friday to get the OS installed on it.  My wife had the car, and I asked her to plan to come home by 3:30pm so we could get supper and I could still be at the repair shop by 5pm.

A lot has been happening here.  We finally got a plumber to come out and give us an estimate on doing a splice in the cold water line to run a tap to the water filter, so that we don't have to leave it hooked up to the faucet.

A "recent" (I'm actually several updates behind, I tend to not update something that works until forced to do so unless it's security software) update to iTunes wiped out my music files (fortunately, I had all of them copied in the "My Music" folder on the computer hard drive), and I had to reload all of it into iTunes this ( Read more... )

Well, after a hugely concentrated burst of gaming over the early part of this week, I have the pleasure of announcing that I have completed my very first PLATINUM TROPHY (aka Platinum Achievement on X360) on our PS3.
