(no subject)
For the record, I really don't use livejournal much anymore, truth be told, I don't use it at all, and at the beginning of next year am considering closing this journal down after nearly a decade of having it open, although activity really waning over the last few years. Thing is, I used it a lot in the first few years and there's a lot of memories and effort that went into the creation of putting this together, and it would seem like such a waste to just delete it and lose all of it, so over the last week, I've been transferring each and every entry to one big Word Document to possibly print up into a hard copy, book format just to have for myself.
I haven't really been into the idea of keeping a journal based log of my daily, weekly, monthly, etc. activities and goings-on the way I used to, I do a lot more opinion and retrospective blogging based "writing" that I store on a different website that I'm more active on.
I'd like to at least try and update things but I kinda doubt it's gonna happen at this point. What I can update on is I've FINALLY found gainful employment! It doesn't get going for another three weeks, but it definitely takes a heavy burden off my shoulders. The job is a "receiver" position at a new Dave & Busters that's opening up here in ABQ. I just need to stay out of trouble between now and then, and by trouble, I mean the car I'm driving, which is 100% illegal at the moment, including me. Basically, id I get pulled over, I'm going to jail, and that would in turn, fuck everything up! I just need a month, maybe a month and a half, and I believe I can get everything straightened out and get legal again. It's like, fuck, I've made it this long, and this far, just gimme that... It's been a long road.
Things seem to be going pretty good, but I'm definitely proceeding with caution.
