How's everyone doin? I haven't posted in a while, and today is pretty much the first day in a long while that i've stopped moving long enough to put an entry in anyways...
In any case, i'm doin just great. We had a choir concert on thursday that went incredibly well for the fall show, we had a choral festival yesterday with Simon Carrington, the founder of the king's singers, as a guest clinician (you guys probably don't know who he is, but the king's singers have been world famous for about 30 years and are the most recognized and accomplished a capella group in history). That was a lot of fun because he loved us. And the Counterpoints screwed up. bad. which is always INCREDIBLY fun since that never happens and gives the world hope to dethrone them at state, which i truly think will happen this year, whether its us or someone else. They will be defeated! muhahahahahahah!! ok then...
In other news, Wanda Sykes is this evening, which i am more than excited about. I can't wait...literally...i'm just sitting here trying to force myself to wait...and i guess i'll have to cuz i can't really make her go on any earlier than 7:00..sooo...
Also, prompted by Kaitlin's post, i decided to check my SAT II scores today, which i was pleseantly surprised by. I raised my French score almost 200 points (ha, that tells you how bad i did before...), but i wasn't really surprised by that seeing how i would have been angry had i not raised it significantly, studying in France and all this summer. I was, however, surprised by my Math level II score, which was only a little lower than my french score. I figured it'd be pretty low, but i guess they don't score it very rigorously cuz i sure did leave 8 or 9 blank...
Anyway, i'm gonna go call ppl to figure out what we're doin tonight, watch some alias and then do some calculus, then its off to wanda! talk to you all later...
