So this is what happiness feels like. Sweet.

This has been one of the best weekends I have had in a long time.

Friday:  My dad gets offered a job.  IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME.  Thank you to all of you who kept my family in your prayers, it means a lot to me, thank you so freakin' much.  The job is in Clearwater, Florida, we'll be going down for February vacation.  I think my dad and I are gonna drive the Camry down, then my mom and sister will fly down and meet us.  This is so amazing.

Also on Friday, my dad went out and bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner because our old vacuum didn't suck enough.  This new one is all funky and space-age looking, and it works perfectly.  Excellent.

Friday night:  Hung out with Seanathan.  Jonathan and I rented Dark Blue, which we saw the first hour, then Kyle and Craig came over to Jonathan's house, and then we hung out with Sean again, and there was a trip to Panasia, and I don't remember much else.  Fun night.

Saturday:  I got my first college acceptance letter.  This one came from UNH.  I have a future!  Somebody thinks I'm worth their time.  I still haven't heard back from Fitchburg, and I just sent something to Emerson that was missing, so we'll see how those two turn out.  I'll probably transfer down to a Florida school after freshman year because out of state tuition for Florida State is less than the cost of a year at BG.

I had work on Saturday night, it wasn't too bad.  Afterwards I went down to Friendly's to meet Seanathan and Eric M, who were sitting with the notorious MJ.  MJ sang some songs, he danced a bit, and we talked to some kids at the booth next to ours.  It was weird and wicked funny. Gill was there with an extremely intoxicated Shep. I sat down to chat for a bit and Shep burst out laughing for no reason. 'Twas funny. Jonathan offended the girls, which was also hilarious.  I think one of the girls thought I was cute, she kept looking at me.  Or maybe there was something in my hair.  Who knows?  I'll most likely never see them again.

Today:  Relaxed, which was nice.  I went over to Jonathan's house for a bit and we finished watching Dark Blue.  Pretty good movie.  I also cleaned my room a bit; there will be a couple of appraisers coming over either Monday or Tuesday to give an estimate on the house.  I found many articles of clothing that I haven't seen in ages.  It was pretty cool.  I have more T-shirts than I thought I did.

So this weekend has been pretty good.  It was just great, there's no other way to describe it.  I wasn't in a bad mood for the past 72 hours.  My dad has a job, I'm going to college, and my dog is freaking adorable.  I'm happy, and I like this feeling.  I don't even care that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I'm single.  It just doesn't matter to me.  I feel great.
