So I thought I would finally update this thing since I havent in quite awhile. Hah, except now, I'm not really sure where to start. My schedule this year is okay I guess, but insane amounts of homework (way more than last year).
Economics K - I pretty much hate this class and would hate it even more if there werent people in there that I like, but luckily there are. And it is extremely hard to stay awake in that class since it is first period.
English IV AP - Haha I'm not really sure what to say about this class other than I have a teacher who contradicts herself constantly and relates everything we are studying to the lord of the rings.
Pre-cal - I hate math. Thats pretty much it.
Yearbook - I LOVE this class! Really good people in it, and it always brightens up my day. I've also made some new friends and I really like them too.
Photo 2 - I also love this class! Again really good people in it, and I love photography too, so its a good class.
Government - This class is okay too...I did not like it at all first, but I am liking it now. I find government MUCH more interesting than economics and the teacher is very cool too.
So at least I'm getting both economics and government out of the way this semester and next semester I'll have health first period and then I'll be a photo-assistant 6th period, so I will only have two real classes and it will be glorious. But until next semester, I am going to be extremely busy.
I've also been really sad about everything thats going on in new orleans. It's actually affecting me much more than I thought it would. Maybe its just because I used to live in louisiana and I've been to new orleans several times in my life and its such a beautiful city and the people there are awesome too. I just remember it always having such a lively 'spirit' to it, so its really sad that that is gone now. Plus the fact that I feel really bad for all the people who lost their homes and now have nothing, and them not knowing whether theyre loved ones are alive or not. I cant even begin to think what it must be like to be in their situation. So I've really been sad about that these past few days. I am glad that houston does seem to be doing a lot to help out though. And I definitely want to do all that I can to help out. I'm definitely going to clean out my closet tomorrow (or tonight) to donate clothes, and I know I'll have tons to donate. Plus, I'll be much more motivated so I will actually give away more clothes than just saying "maybe I'll wear this one day" and then putting it back. I really hope that everything will turn out for the best for all those people though.
On a lighter note, I'm really happy that its a 3 day weekend, even though I know that I'm going to have to spend a good majority of tomorrow writing my english paper and doing all my other homework. Anyways, I think thats all I'm going to write for now, but I am going to try to start to update this thing more. I hope everyone has a nice night. Adios!
