In short:

Bad news: I haven't got a new job outside the BBC.

Good news: my job in BBC Parliament is going to change for the next four months.

Bad news: I will still have to work with the Twat.

Good news: I'll be on 9-5 until August, I'll be getting to run around with cameras and actually do some filming/production work, and use software that might help me get the job I went for last year. On top of that, I'll then be doing editing of BBC Olympic coverage, which will also bolster my CV.

Bad news: I'm running out of gigs.

Good news: I'm mostly enjoying the gigs again, and have on coming up on Wednesday April 23rd.

So, on balance, mostly Yay.

Edwinbashi would like to extend his personal gratitude to Sables Sans Frontieres, and would point out that while negotiations are afoot with another service provider, this is purely out of a need for expediency in addressing the need for an online Democratic Republic of Flay domain.

In an attempt to kick-start the development process, The mighty Edwinbashi extends to the manging [sic] director of SSF an invitation to visit the new Grand Palatial Residence. The national dish of pizza will be served, and post-prandial negotiations will surely be fruitful under such circumstances. Is there a date that would be suitable for the director? And could he bring a hatstand with him?
