The other day at work, I was in and around the eastern suburbs of Sydney. It came to my lunch break, and it was too far a trip to go home to eat, so I just found a nice park to sit at and eat my lunch at, like I usually do in such situations.
Anyway, found this nice park/sports oval thing with a couple of big trees for me to sit under. Across the oval from me was a primary school, and being lunch time, the kids were out there having a play. There were a group of 5 boys playing cricket; one with the bat, and the other four fielding and bowling. Whoever got the ball after the kid batting hit it got to bowl the next ball.
The kid with the ball comes running in, bowls the ball, and the kid with the bat smacks it away. Now as I said, whoever got the ball got to bowl the next ball, so all four of the kids fielding turned and chased off after this ball. Three of the boys legged it, all getting to the ball about the same time and all dove for it, falling onto each other. The 4th kid jogged along behind the 3 running and avoided the fall, picked up the ball, then turned around and skipped back.
Pick the smarter kid.
