Cleared the hoarded boxes, bags and notebook in 6 hours!
Extremely looking forward to being 18.
Even though I'm the one saying it, but I felt that I've grown up suddenly in 2010. In terms of work, from "Bloody Monday" onwards my knowledge of acting had a quality change. Previously I would act out based on my feelings from reading the script, now I will deliberate on which actions to use, what kind of image to portray, these questions on "acting methods". In "Karigurashi no Arrietty", I challenged on the ways to minutely and smoothly express the feelings. In the tanpatsu drama "Kokoro no ito", I spent a month learning sign language, exploring a new territory. In "SPEC", working with Kase Ryo has great significance to me.
When Kase-san has doubts about his own role, he would ask me "What do you think about it?", when we have scenes together we would also discuss "How should this be acted out?", helping each other to fine tune our performances. So I thought "I can ask others for their opinions" too. Relying on myself to completely understand the role is impossible, but with everyone discussing together, listening to different opinions, a new breakthrough can be discovered, deepening the understanding of the character. I had gained a lot of valuable experience.
After reaching my second year of high school, I've become much more steady (laughs). My field of activities have been allowed to expanded, my own opinions have increased, the words I use have become more matured. In the first year of high school the new surroundings and atmosphere still seemed light, when school ended I would be discussing "What are you doing today? Let's go for karaoke?", playing together happily with everyone, and always saying "I want to be popular! I want to be popular!" (laughs). Feels like this year I have suddenly become a lot more level-headed. Recently I've reached the conclusion that "It feels more reassuring to be loved by one person"* (laughs). Not too long ago, I spent 6 hours cleaning my room. The boxes that I had previously saved to put my junk items (laughs), bags, used notebooks etc all stuffed into 10 bags and thrown away (laughs). Right now I have very strongly realised that the real me "is like this"**
In 2011 I want to "increase abilities that has Kamiki's characteristics". Express my views accurately, the words used in expressing my opinions, life, even physical ability, I wish that I can upgrade my abilities. And I'll graduate from high school soon, become 18 years old. Hopefully I can get a driver's license first. I'm extremely looking forward to being 18.
Things that made me feel mature in 2010

1. Started going home after school ended!
When there are things I would go back if it's on the way, but now I will basically be in my room listening to music, read books, or go out for walks, take photos, I've become more steady (less childish, that's what I think he means) (laughs)
2. World as an actor has broadened!
Previously I would act according to my own understanding. Through acting with Kase Ryo in "SPEC", I realised that importance of working together with everyone.
3. Not being wasteful!
No longer will I buy stationery or titbits on impulse, saving on train fares. Recently I bought a 7500yen book.
4. Throw away the things I don't need!
When I consider that "The things I don't need now, I will also not need them in the fture", I cleared out 10 bags of rubbish, it felt so refreshing!
5. Not wanting to be popular anymore!
During the first year of high school, I would go around proclaiming that "I want to be popular!" (laughs), right now I feel that "It's better to be loved by one person".

Going out at 5am for hatsumode!
During new year's eve soba will be eaten, and going out at 5am for hatsumode. "If this hagoita is used for playing during new year, seeing it makes the person think "that's cute", I will be very happy."

*It is safer to be loved by one person? I struggled to find a satisfactory sentence, but couldn't. This makes me think that either he has found a girlfriend, or he somehow came to terms with things. The second time he mentioned this in Best 5, he used "better" instead of "safe/reassurance". In case anyone wondered hoho.
**What does this mean.. he realised that he stores too much stuff? He realised that the real him should throw away all unneeded things?
It's near the end of the year, so here's a end-of-year summary interview! (ignore the fact that this is for 2010..) And working with Kase Ryo seems to have a really good influence on him.
