Looooooooooong Gig
Well, the band (Your Last Excuse) just had our longest gig ever. It was stinking hot, and between the 2 hour practice beforehand and the actual gig, I think I sweated out more than my body weight. We were playing at Jimmy Jazz downtown Guelph, and the second band could not make it - meaning we were the only band all night. We managed to pull together about 20 songs, which made for a decent set list. With a couple of 15-20 minute breaks in between, we played from about 11 to 1:30 am. If you heard music coming from Jimmy Jazz around those times tonight, you inadvertently ingested some YLE. Consult your doctor.
Also, my birthday present from the parents was high speed internet, which was installed on Wednesday - so it looks like I can actually post now! Yay!
