Parker had come back from visiting Jack, and meeting a lot of amusing kid-adults in the Common Room, and finally herded Jarod back to her suite, both of them yawning.

Parker had locked up 234 carefully, put on some bouncy but not *childish*, thank you, music; and made sure anything breakable was in her bedroom, before going back to lift Esme out of her habitat so Aly could see her closer. "Here you go. Esme, Aly. Aly? Esme."

Parker had the door open and the music up, with various papers from her father's computer spread, well, everywhere. Coffee going, Esme hopping around and nosing at things, and her attention focused on plots and plans. And Teal Dear's latest schedule. And Gun Club. And....

The door was open.

Parker still had a few more gifts to give out, but everything was wrapped and ready.

The orchids were singing the non-dirty version of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." Esme had a festive little red bow on her neck. And there was nogg.

After her run with Peter, Parker got back to her room, took a shower, then started the ongoing process of keeping both M and Esme entertained.

Sadly, today they were ganging up on her instead of each other, and were engaged in a rousing game of Knocking Things Over in 236.

Esme has been freed from her prison-- or rather, she's hopping around the dance floor, pushing her little rolling ball with her nose. Parker is rolling it back to her, in between dancing to U2, and waiting for the coffee to brew.
