Animation: Tangled

May 15, 2012 22:32

For those who wants the synopsis here it is:

The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is.

I so loved that one! It's been a while since i loved an animation so much even though the storyline is so cliché. But i love the heroine, Rapunzel, she is so cute and everything (too bad i loved her long, blonde hair) and then there is Finn, the poor bandit who get "tangled" with Rapunzel and end up being her hero. The scene with the lanterns... so touching. The song, scenery... it was just beautiful.
I have to say that i really enjoy all the songs, the one with mother Gothel where she "warns" Rapunzel of all the dangers waiting outside of the tower was just so hilarious or the one with the bandits and their dreams^^. The fact that Mandy Moore is playing the voice of Rapunzel is a + since i love her. I know her from her film A Walk to Remember (so sad) and i really like her song Only Hope. I think she is an amazing artist even though she isn't as famous as some.

Mozaya Points: 16/20
I know it's a simple storyline but i loved the characters, all of them (even the bad ones) and the design was beautiful. So were the songs^^

And here a little surprise for those who didn't know there's a court-métrage that was released after the film:
in French          in English
It was really funny, especially the look into everyone's eyes at the end and the wedding cake *laughing so hard here*
