T.V.
*Emmy nominations come out next week. Can you believe I've never watched the Emmy's before? I was never really into t.v. shows (except Friends and Oz) until about two years ago when I got hooked on Six Feet Under and Deadwood, among others. Now, I'm a t.v. addict (current obsessions: Arrested Development, The Office, Rome and Entourage). Now I can't wait until the ceremony.
*Here's hoping for nominations for: The Office, Steve Carell (The Office), Rome, Entourage, Jeremy Piven (Entourage), Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Hugh Laurie (House) and Ian McShane (Deadwood). I hope I'm not missing anyone, although I'm sure that I am.
*Speaking of t.v. shows, I used to lovelovelove The X-Files. I remember getting hooked around season three (so that would have been around 1995/1996). I recently got the first three seasons on DVD, so I'm re-watching some of these episodes for the first time since the 1990's. It's still just as amazing and addictive as I remember. How awesome are David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson? I mean, come on, they are Mulder and Scully. I'm not even a big science fiction fan, but for some reason, this show has always been a love of mine. Any other X-Filers out there? Do you know of any good LJ communities that are still active?
