I am no longer grey and black and emo-sad. I am now Pink and White and Shiny. Let's see how long it lasts. I might soon switch back to black because hey, black matches everything better.
Today many amusing things happened in school (mostly after break). We were in Biology (coloring DNA, yay!) and for some reason Mrs. Hardy started on a discourse about how "gay" should Never Ever be used as a synonym for "stupid" (which made many, including myself, to applaud her). In her "you should not use this word because you may be unintentionally offending someone" rant, she mentioned that approximately one out of every nine people is gay, so that means that one who used the word "gay" improperly would theoretically be offending two people in the classroom. This caused Daris to burst out with something to the effect of, "All right, who are they?" while meanwhile Juliette was whipping out her calculator trying to figure out how many gay people there would be in the world. So then I was telling people at lunch during the next period about this, and Jamie said, "That means that one of my siblings must be gay!" so she went through the long list of her siblings trying to guess which one would turn out to be gay.
Oh, and then there was Western Civ last period, in which Alix and I commandeered Paul's computer to look up information for our project, and I was apparently way too excited about all the violent actions of the Jacquerie (But zomg! Knights were being roasted on spits!) Also, I found out that in Mr. Cullity's B-block English class they were talking about the differences between modern notions of love and Victorian notions of love, and Mr. Cullity allegedly (this was reported to me by Alix and Sarah D., who are reputable sources) said something to the effect of, "Love today is like 'I love you... baby." The thought of him saying that amuses me vastly. And then in my English class, Shaylagh and I were telling Rob about dear old Bill and his man purse, skateboard, etc. and he looked at us like we were somewhat crazy.
Yesterday I didn't have dance because of the snow, which depressed me, but I went online and guess what? I have new geek!music! And it's not just Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy - I found some Ape Escape and Crash Team Racing music! So then I was happy because I have Shiny New Geek!music, yay! (And then there was a new episode of Lost, which was really awesome. There is a new character who has the most awesome British accent ever. I want it. I think I'm going to steal her voice and put it inside my evil shell necklace.)
