* Re-release of The Monkees Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. I may be tempted. Don't judge me! (Mike was my favorite.
* Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots, um, Real Steel news. Really, this may be the most ridiculous movie coming out soon. Okay, most ridiculous with an A-list actor attached. That's not to say I won't see it.
* From AV Club: Vincent Gallo will no longer allow audiences to ruin his films by seeing them. He's not the first person to create something without the intention of others seeing it. He may be the first person to find big money backing for it. (Emily Dickinson had relatively low overheads.)
* Also from AV Club: Help provide free copies of Slaughterhouse-Five to students at book-banning high school. Awesome.

X-Men: First Class: Synthesis--"Synthesis is a dynamic process. Or, scenes from the AU where Charles and Erik have sex, get married, become best friends, and run the school together." Nice Erik characterization. They're together, but that doesn't mean he's any less angry.
