Most of you have probably heard of the infamous xArmed for Battlex. If you haven't, then you're missing out on a quality band.
Yesterday, they were in Oakland, California, attempting to record some new stuff for their devoted fans.
Unfortunately they did not get very far in their tour that they had just left Reno for.
At a fifteen-to-five ratio, these boys were jumped by people with mace, pipes, bats, etc.
Four out of these five amazing people were hospitalized,
Steve was in surgery due to bleeding in his brain and a fractured skull.
Tony and Brandon have staples from severe injuries
The guy from Castle sounds like he is taking sides, saying that the people that did this were class acts and Armed for Battle must of done something bad to warrant this.
Let's also add insult to the injury. Their merch, and mand equipment was stolen as well.
These guys are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are funny, they are sincere, and if they're your friends, they are some of the most loyal people in the world. They were jumped over melodrama that they weren't even a part of, and mind you, whatever melodrama that did happen, happened approximately nine months ago. Wow, real fucking mature. And they say girls hold grudges the most!
So seriously, call this shameless promoting, but I'm doing this for people that I think are worth putting the effort into helping. If you have any money, whatsoever, please donate it to these boys. What happened to them was completely unjust, and what needs to be done is making it right.
From what I always understood, hardcore/straightedge, whatever isn't about who's tougher than the other, it's about brotherhood, sisterhood, friendship, loyalty.
If you have any of these values, you will do what you can to help out an amazing group of people, and a crucial band.
