Home from a long and productive day of... well not really doing much more than taking Max for a walk and watching FAR too much Food Network, Wade checked his mail.

I made it safely so you can breath now and I haven't seen Kakashi so you don't have to worry about that either. Not that you needed to worry about it at all. Things might be worse than I thought they were from Tsunade's original letter. We'll just have to see when I leave the village.
Jiraiya's been missing for several weeks now. He was on a mission that involved spying on a group called the Akatsuki. I don't know if I ever mentioned them to you before, if not then I'll tell you when I see you next because it's too difficult to explain in a letter. Evil, crazy and organized are the terms that come to mind immediately though.

I saw Naruto, he's taking a break from a mission that I think is taking more out of him than he'll let me know. I'm worried about him but he perks right up. He didn't open the birthday gift we sent him until I asked him about it. He loved the knives you sent him and wants to get more of them.
I don't know how long this mission of my own will take, but I hope that it will be over soon so that I can come home. I miss you already.
Try not to get to drunk. You don't like it when your liver has to regrow.
