This new printer is beautiful. And way more hi-tech than I need. But beautiful.

The logic was that if I went for a higher-tech printer and stopped keeping it by my feet and using it as a foot rest it wouldn't crap out quite so easily or quickly.

After my computer crashed last night and I had to reformat the hard drive and lost everything I've done in the last two months, I conveniently learned how to say "My computer is broken, but I'm not taking it to get it repaired because I will fix it myself, and it will be fixed in two days" in Thai today ( Read more... )

I applied at the Home Depot that's opening up on Baseline next month. I really hope they'll hire me (at a decent wage). I miss having a job where I got to deal with customer's face to face, do actual physical labor of some sort and feel like I'd accomplished something by the end of my shift (and had something concrete to show for it).
