Apparently my karma wasn't good enough to get to have any money at all, because between my two non-language classes I have something like 25 books. THANKS THONGCHAI.
I'm pretty addicted to Xenosaga right now, but I'm not sure if it's because it's just my newest game or because I really actually like it a lot. I think the story and characters and designs are pretty great though, so I'm leaning toward the latter.
I think I'm going to convert to Buddhism. I need to give it more thought and really see if this isn't just a temporary flight of fancy, but it just makes so much more SENSE to me than everything I've been taught all my life. Christian stories and messages are great, and I like them a lot, but I don't feel like they really explain the universe or my place in it in relation to everything else or anything. They just feel like...stories to me.
I mean, if one of my biggest psychological problems right now is trying to figure out WHO I AM, but there's no inherent self, obviously struggling to find my self is just going to frustrate me and make me unhappy. I don't know. I need to think about it some more.
