On July 4th, I attended breakup performance of the seven-man rock entertainment group YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz fronted by GACKT (39) at the Nippon Budoukan.
They were formed in March of 2010 as a concept to “increase more manly men in Japan.” During this last performance, the representing song “Mousou Girl” and 14 others were played. Respectively, the main reason for the breakup was so that they all could go their own ways. GACKT turned 39 on this day, and with a smile on his face, he received blessings from fans. Together with this breakup is the start of a new life.
