DRAMALIST OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Jul 22, 2008 15:34

Since citzera posted a Dramalist in their journal and since I already had a similar list typed in a document on my computer (cause I do things like that.) I figured I might as well put it up too. Cause it's all interesting. Yarly.
I'm only using this journal for shit like this anyway :D

Watching:

• 33pun Tantei (2/9)
• Akai Ito (9/?)
• Isshun no Kaze ni Nare (3/4)
• Love Shuffle (1/?)
• Mei-chan no Shitsuji (5/?)
• RESCUE (2/?)
• ROOM OF KING (4/9)
• Uta no Oniisan (4/?)
• Voice (4/?)

On Hold:

• 9 end 2 outs (1/16)
• At Home Dad (4/12)
- Actually really good but I just never got around to watching more of it, I should take it up again soon D:
• Coffee Prince (1/17)
• Dal Ja's Spring (2/22)
• Loss Time Life (2/9)
- I really like the plot, and the episodes I've watched were entertaining, but it got kinda repetitive and I began prioritating other dramas before this. Might continue watching it later on.

Completed:

• 1 Litre of Tears (10 eps + SP) 10/10
- I cried and cried and cried and cried. It's actually a lot too sentimental to really be good, but it's just so touching and they all act so damn good (for being a jdrama, of course.) and asdhjsahgdja;gadj I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
• 1 Pound Gospel (9 eps) 7/10
- Was a lot better than I expected. I mean, a plot about nuns and boxing and Kame acting stupid didn't seem all that exciting, but it was kinda fun. And Kame is actually quite adorable, which is nice for a change.
• 14sai no Haha (11 eps) 9/10
- I guess I'm totally M since I always find dramas which make me cry my eyes out totally awesome. But it really is awesome. And so so so so sad. Fucking Japan and their fucking pride though, this'd never be as awful in Sweden.
• Anego (10 eps + SP) 8/10
- It's not much of a secret that I'm kinda biased when it comes to Jin, so my rating and opinion about Anego might be slightly coloured since he was so keyboardsmashingly hot in it. But I thought it was really entertaining. Like.. when he didn't have screen time too. Seriously.
• Bambino! (11 eps) 7/10
- Pretty good. MatsuJun looks as good as always, plot is kinda predictable, plot made me hungry, Mukai Osamu is cute, stressful episodes gave me a seizure. Cooking is not very interesting in dramas, so why is there like 324546 cooking dramas every season? SRSLY? WHY?
• Binbo Danshi (9 eps) 7.5/10
- It's amazing how Shun manages to cry at least ten times every episode. The plot is pretty bad, but the main cast is amazing and the characters are adorable and it is IMPOSSIBLE to dislike <3
• Bloody Monday (11 eps) 9/10
- I LOVE THIS DRAMA SO MUCH ♥ :'D It's perfectly dramatic and the cliffhangers are epic and omfg the tension! The cast is pretty damn ace too 8D The only thing keeping it from scoring a ten was the lame ending. Ah well.
• Cat Street (6 eps) 8/10
- Okay, so it bothered me that Kagrra, only appeared for like two seconds, it'd been a lot better if they'd, y'know, like, actually filmed their faces. But seriously, this is such a good drama. I was pretty sceptical when I saw the first maybe ten minutes cause I didn't really like the cast, but they're all so convincing and omfg I love them.
• Cinderella ni Naritai! (Special, 1 ep) 2/10
- LOL. So bad. Totally worth it only for watching Ohkura prance around in ugly fur coats.
• Code Blue (11 eps) 4/10
- So like, medical dramas have never really been my thing, and when they are as completely uninteresting and without anything even remotely touching as Code Blue, I have to pinch myself to not fall asleep while watching it. I'm not even sure how I managed to sit through eleven episodes of stonefaceYamapi being omigoshmiracleman and WHY WAS THERE ABSOLUTELY NO ACTION BETWEEN HIM AND ERIKA AND YUI? It was so made to be, and then it just didn't happen. Not that anything really happened in this drama. Blah. I am so fucking sick of it right now.
• Densha Otoko (11 eps + I dunno how many Specials and they all sucked.) 7/10
- I LOVE IT, EVEN THOUGH IT IS SO BAAAAAAD <3 The whole BBS-thing is hilarious. Oguri Shun is also amazingly hot the 2 seconds he appears every episode, and the soundtrack is perfect. I WAS SO FRUSTRATED THE LAST EPISODES.
• Dragon Zakura (11 eps) 8/10
- I don't really get why it took me like a year to finally watch this. I mean, it's really good. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YAMAPI. He used to be so hot, like in this drama, why doesn't he look like this anymore?! D:
• Giragira (8 eps) 7.5/10
- This was actually a lot better than I thought it would be! I liked seeing a drama about hosts, even though it was a bit too easygoing for my liking. I want a host-drama filled with AAAAAAAAAAANGST. IT WOULD BE EPIC 8D
• Gokusen (12 eps + SP) 7/10
- lol, Gokusen, lol. I can't decide whether Gokusen actually is good or really bad. Or, like, I know it is really (reallyreallyreally) bad, but it's so fucking amusing. Always such good cast too. I really need to rewatch the first season though.
• Gokusen 2 (10 eps) 7/10
- Same as first season, just different cast. It never fails to amaze me how they three seasons later still do the exact same dilemmas every time. Also the series which gave birth to 90% of all Akame fans and their hideous graphics.
• Gokusen 3 (11 eps) 6.5/10
- Probably the least good season, imo. Miura Haruma is pretty much why I've completed it. And yeah, it's entertaining, as usual.
• GTO (12 eps + some SP's or movies or whatever. I don't remember.) 6/10
- I LOVE THE GTO MANGA. It is like the funniest shit ever written. Pity the drama doesn't quite measure up, but it's still GTO and I still love it. Shun was beri beri kyoot when he was 12. Or 17. Or however old he was 1998, he sure looked 12 anyway.
• Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (12 eps + SP) 9.5/10
- One of the first dramas I watched, and still one of the best. So funny and the cast is great and everything is perfect <3 Also, the special was lovely.
• Hana Yori Dango (9 eps) 10/10
- SO EXTREMELY GOOD. Perfect combination of drama and love and humour and angst and I LOVE HANA YORI DANGO SO MUCH.
• Hana Yori Dango 2 (11 eps) 10/10
- Everything Hana Yori Dango deserves 10 in score. Myep.
• Honey & Clover (11 eps) 8/10
- Such a cozy drama. Funny and sweet and awesome characters <3
• Innocent Love (10 eps) 6.5/10
- Well. There is SO MUCH I want to say about this drama, and everything would be spoilers :Dv The plot is pretty retarded and sometimes really dramatic (which I like) and sometimes nothing happens for episodes. The ending was lame and the plottwists were as unbelievable as they were hilarious. I fucking hate both main characters. Actually, I only liked Hirokis character out of them all. Yay for bias!
• Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (12 eps) 9/10
- HILARIOUS. Abe Hiroshi is brilliant in this. One of the funniest dramas I've seen.
• Kimi wa Petto (10 eps) 9/10
- asdhgfhjd;dghjas MatsuJun might be the hottest person ever in this drama. Plot is somewhat scary, but I love it anyway. It's really cute and Koyuki is awesome as the main character.
• Kisarazu Cat's Eye (9 eps + 2 movies) 10/10
- THE CHARACTERS. THE OKADA JUNICHI. THE HILARITY. THE SMALL GLIMPSES OF HIROKI. THE AWESOMENESS. KISARAZU CATS! NYA! CATS! NYA! CATS! NYAAAAAAAAAA! I'm actually surprised by how good it was! The movies too, especially the first one. World Series was slightly too... odd, I guess. Though I suppose that should've been expected since it's a Kisarazu Cat's Eye follow up 8D
• Koi ga Shitai x3 (11 eps) 7.5/10
- I didn't like it at first cause I though it was really boring, but.. then you got to know all the characters better and they're all so much love <3 Such nice storyline and characters.
• Koizora (6 eps) 8/10
- It isnt much different from the movie, except the flow in the drama isn't as rushed, everything happens in a much more, well, natural way. I still like the movie better though, but the drama isn't that far behind~ (WHY do they have to include Abe Tsuyoshi in everything I watch, lately? He is so fucking annoying.)
• Koukou Kyoushi 2003 (11 eps) 7/10
- I began watching this like.. more than a year ago and didn't like it at all, but since then I've watched so many shitty dramas that I guess my standards have been lowered. I really liked it this time around actually 8D Although both main characters annoy me, everyhting around them is great. Like Hiroki's psycho character. And the whole deal with the older teacher. Guess I'll have to watch 1993 eventually.
• Kurosagi (11 eps) 7/10
- Uuuuuuuuuh. It was kinda exciting the first few eps, and then everything was just repeating itself. Maki annoyed me to pieces as well, as she usually does. It's kinda good though, I guess.
• Last Friends (11 eps + SP) 10/10
- THE. BEST. DRAMA. EVER. FOR SRS. Bets plot, best characters, best acting, best dramatic twists. SO GOOD.
• LIFE (11 eps) 8/10
- Really good but emotionally painful to watch. Especially the first eps, got sorta cheesy and unbelievable towards the end. Although the last episode was fucking scary.
• Long Love Letter (11 eps) 6/10
- Possibly the oddest drama I've watched. I mean, a plot about a school disappearing from earth, leaving a huge circular crater behind? Kinda scary, kinda cute, kinda funny, but mostly very really extremely odd. Oh, and Yamada Takayuki & Kubozuka Yosuke are love.
• Lunch Queen (12 eps) 5/10
- Kind of entertaining, and I like most of the main cast. Got better towards the end. Also has the worst theme song EVER. JEREMIAH WAS A BULLFROG, HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE DU-DU-DUUUUH. GAH. TAKE IT AWAY.
• Maou (11 eps) 8/10
- THE LAST EPISODE WAS SO FUCKING EXCELLENT D: I was really skeptical of this drama before I watched the first episode, but it was so much better than I could ever imagine.
• MY BOSS MY HERO (10 eps) 8/10
- LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. PRICELESS. Plot is hilarious, Nagase is made of win and Tegoshi is even more gay than usual (whichi means he's sort of funny and incredibly irritating at the same time). WAAAAAAAAAATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~
• Nobuta wo Produce (10 eps + SP) 9/10
- Who doesn't love Nobuta? Was one of the first jdramas I watched, and the reason why I became such a tragic fan of this shitty japanese music company called Johnny's Entertainment. I should probably hate Nobuta for it, but Nobuta is too awesome to be hated. THE MONKEY ARM, I TELL YOU.
• Nodame Cantabile (11 eps) 7.5/10
- I had watched about half of the anime before watching this drama, and the anime was cute. A bit annoying and all over the place, but cute. The drama is pretty much the same, but the more I watched the more exciting it got. Definitely entertaining!
• Orange Days (11 eps) 8/10
- So awesome. Lovely cast, lovely plot, lovely Hiroki. I ALSO VERY MUCH LOVE SHIBASAKI KOU.
• Osen (10 eps) 7.5/10
- I really had the lowest expectations for this drama, but it turned out to be so good~ Even though it is about cooking. Uchi's bad!acting is surprisingly unannoying. Aoi Yuu might also be the prettiest girl alive. AND THE KIMONOS SHE WEARS dgahdgajsk *__*
• Proposal Daisakusen (11 eps + SP) 7.5/10
- I LOVE plots about time travelling and stuff like that, so I enjoyed Proposal maybe a bit too much. It gets kinda repititive after a few eps, but I dunno, I like it. The Special was sucky.
• ROOKIES (11 eps) 9/10
- I was so sure I'd hate ROOKIES when I begun watching it, and I have absolutely no clue why I love it as much as I do, but nnnnnnnnnnngh. SO GOOD <3 It's like I don't even care it's about baseball.
• Ryuusei no Kizuna (10 eps) 8.5/10
- This was a lot different from what I expected when I read about it earlier. I thought it'd be dark and humourless and it was like the complete opposite! The last episode was SO GOOD too! And that's not very common in teh jdramas.
• Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu (11 eps + SP) 8/10
- Another really sad drama. First episodes were cute but kind of too slow, and the plot in the flashbacks (which took up maybe 75% of the drama) kicked in a bit too late in the series, imo. It's cute though and the last few episodes were incredibly sad and made up for the slow start <3
• Shimokita Sundays (9 eps) 5/10
- Shimo Shimo Shimo Shimo Shimo Shimo SHIMOKITA SUNDEEEEEZU. lol. Best intro ever. Err, anyway, kinda cute drama. Every episode felt like it was three times its length, which was slightly irritating. Also very hysterical, in a somewhat good way.
• Stand Up!! (11 eps) 10/10
- Another one of the best dramas I've seen. Oh, the hilarity. Awesome cast, and I love the plot even though it's stupid. Is definitely the funniest drama EVER.
• Sore wa Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni (10 eps) 5/10
- I fucking hate the main character. Yamapi is cute. The dancing is charming. Overall not very good.
• Taiyou no Kisetsu (11 eps) 8.5/0
- This has to be the most dramatic series I have ever seen. It's so overwhelming I couldn't watch more than like two eps on a row. I never expected Takki to be this good of an actor, it was a nice surprise 8D The plot is also pretty excellent.
• Taiyou to Umi no Kyoshitsu (10 eps) 8/10
- HAVE I TOLD YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE SCHOOL DRAMAS? And this is one of the better ones I've watched. I also like laughing at Tomiura Satoshi's girly voice. And fangirling Kitano Kii. FUCK IT, I just love all of the main cast and I like how what happens isn't complete rip offs of other school dramas ♥
• Tatta Hitotsu no Koi (10 eps) 8.5/10
- I love dramas like this <3 Dramas about love that are angsty and somewhat like High School Movies, just slightly more..uh.. realistic? Koki is adorable, Kame's looking good.
• Yasuko to Kenji (10 eps) 7.5/10
- So at first I loved it, then I got sick of it and didn't watch it for like two months, and then I picked it up again and OMFGLOVE'd it.. and.. yeah.. It's neat. I like the sparkles and the sound effects and Matsuoka is so fucking hot it hurts.
• Yonimo Kimyona Monogatari 2008 - Dokki Dokkarete Ikiru no sa (Special,1 ep) 3/10
- So fucking weird plot. Yoko is a pretty useless actor too, but it was kinda entertaining. The first 10 minutes anyway.
• Yukan Club (10 eps) 4/10
- Still can't believe I actually made it through the whole of this. Junno being "Swedish" while talking French was hilarious at first, but he's Junno after all, so it became annoying like the second time he turned up on the screen.

Dropped:

• Byakkotai (1/2)
- SO. BORING. I can't remember anything of the episode I watched except the ugly fucking wigs. Historical dramas suck.
• Car Radio ga Owareba (2/4)
• Here is Greenwood (1/?)
- WORST DRAMA I'VE EVER SEEN. I barely made it through the first episode. The actors are worthless, the plot is complete shit and the filming/sound effects/production made me want to stab the computer screen. Will not watch another second for the sake of my own sanity.
• Hokaben (1/10)
- Although Shige is very very very hot (and Ueto Aya is like the prettiest woman on earth) I honestly couldn't stand any more of his horrible acting. And the plot sucks.
• Kami no Shizuku (2/?)
- It really isn't that bad. Not at all as bad as I thought it'd be actually, which kinda leaves me questioning why I even tried watching it in the first place, but yknow.. I had to give it a fair chance! I even almost enjoyed the first episode, but when watching the second I realised I'm not really interested in finishing a drama with such a lame fucking plot. The vivid images they created from taking a sip of the wine gave me headaches.
• P.P.O.I. (no idea/way too many)
- was totally enough watching those few eps that I managed to sit through. Everyone's cute and everything but gah, boring.
• Papa to Musume no Nanokakan (3.5/7)
- Also quite good. I like the plot, but it could've been so much better. I kinda think there's a pattern with the Shigedramas and the dropping though, and the fact that I never managed to get past midway of an episode pretty much talks for itself.
• Sapuri (1/11)
• Sushi Oji! (1/8)
- I WANTED TO LIKE THIS SO MUCH D: Maru deserved the love and Hiroki is supposed to turn up later on, but fuck, too painfully bad to watch.
• Xmas Nante Daikirai (2/4)
- Decent, but why bother watching.
• Yuuki (0.5/1)
- I do seriously not understand why everyone thinks Yuuki's the shit. I think it sucked, and I tried watching it multiple times but never managed to get past half of it.
• Zettai Kareshi (4/10)
- I actually kinda liked Zettai when I watched the first maybe two episodes, but then the bad!acting just made it painful to watch. I still really like the plot, but it could've been executed so much better. Fucking Mocomichi.

Plan to watch:

Winter Season:
Zeni Geba

...etc.

fangirling, list, kdrama, jdrama
