#144) Stone Junction by Jim Dodge
Wow! Talk about non-stop action! Pacing kept you gallopping through the story, but ultimately a cop-out ending.
Grade: B+ Pages: 355
#145) Cry Dance by Kirk Mitchell
Interesting and intriguing story and characters, but very violent. I especially liked the native american insights.
Grade: B Pages: 354
#146) Lucky by Alice Seebold
I'm sure you must be very brave to be this open about your own story. I hope that it brought her some peace. Hopefully police handling of rape victims is much improved today.
Grade: B- Pages: 246
#147 The Little Friend by Donna Tartt
Story and pacing very good, but the plot and characters were pretty much entirely unlikeable.
Grade: B- Pages: 555
#148 Spirit Sickness by Kirk Mitchell
Another extremely violent book, but the native american background and the characters made it very readable.
Grade: B Pages: 354
