Women Other Women Love to Hate
Waaay back in 2009 I wrote a post about women other women love and would date if they were men or gay. Today we’re going to look at the opposite - women other women hate. Now this list was a little difficult because I had to exclude women that both genders generally dislike, like Casey Anthony. This list is comprised of women that are only hated by other women. This is another phenomenon that I don’t always understand. I have a theory but it’s a little sexist so you’ll just have to forgive me this time. I think the women that other women hate are the ones that most women see as sexual rivals or capable of stealing mates. To illustrate, Jennifer Connelly is a very attractive woman, but I have never met a woman who actively dislikes her. She just doesn’t exude an untrustworthy and sexual air that would make other women instinctively feel that she would be dangerous. As a woman, you could have coffee with Jennifer Connelly and you could trust her not to try and take your man. Now that things have been clarified, here’s the list of women that other women simply don’t like.
Scarlet Johansson
Women do not like this chick. The funny thing is that they didn’t always feel that way. Years ago when she was the best friend in “Ghost World” or the love interest/only non-Japanese woman in “Lost in Translation,” no one had a problem with her. I’ve noticed that as she’s become more sexual and more of a starlet, women have just turned off to her. Plain Jane Scarlet Jo - liked, sexy starlet Scarlet Jo - disliked.
Megan Fox
I think all the other stuff is probably true about Megan Fox as well, but I suspect she’s also slightly different. I think women dislike her because she’s so successful yet simultaneously so…damn…slow. There is nothing about this woman that strikes anyone as being razor sharp and I think that bugs women. Extremely attractive, extremely stupid, successful people are just not likeable in general.
Angelina Jolie
Whew! This one’s the Queen Bee. Angelina Jolie doesn’t just look like she would steal away your man, she did. She openly and publically stole Jennifer Aniston’s husband and that infuriated women everywhere. Aniston is beloved and her role as Rachel in “Friends” made her everyone’s girl down the hall. For her to be so thoroughly wronged by a woman like Jolie, a woman that other women already mistrusted, was the last straw. You’ll notice that since her marriage to Pitt, her career has taken a bit of a nosedive and she’s mostly been in subpar crap like “Salt.” Women have a close knit society with a series of rules. A home wrecker will be cast out from the colony like a leper, and that’s what happened to Jolie. I’d bet money she doesn’t have any female friends and maybe never did.
