jar of hearts i know a bar out in mars,
where they driving spaceships instead of cars.
Jonghyun lies back in his chair, admiring the universe he had created. In his little globe, stars were exploding and planets were forming. He had been working on it all month, only eating when necessary and when his girlfriend had threatened to throw his SpongeBob boxers out. He was tired and decided to go to bed because he knew even if he had accelerated the time needed for his universe to form; it would take way more than just five minutes. So he retired to his bedroom and into his bed after a long, well deserved shower. His girlfriend greeted him sleepily, eagerly wrapping her arms around his waist for the first time in two weeks. I missed you, she breathed, her voice still as beautiful and melodic even in her half-awaken state. He nuzzled into her long, silky black hair and fell asleep.

Inside the globe, meteorites were colliding, dust and particles were joining, time was shifting. And slowly, planets began to form. Taking energy from its own stars, the different galaxies started to flourish, the tiniest hint of life forming. A new universe had been born.

Over the next few days, Jonghyun had anxiously watched his globe, waiting for the first human life to step foot onto his universe.

When the time comes, it'll be our getaway.

He knew he shouldn't have let her go out for a stroll. He kept her in for so long because he knew the end was upon them, hovering over their heads like an annoying rain cloud that won't go away. But after a week of staying in, Jonghyun could feel her longing for fresh air. When she looked up from under her long, pretty lashes and asked for just fifteen minutes, he couldn't help it. He should have went with her. He should have said so many things, he should have done so many things, but he didn't, and now she was gone. He stared at the globe, a mockery of something he'll never have again.
