Buns in the Oven: D - F
I was playing the Who's Your Daddy? Challenge over the weekend and now I'm ready to post my progress.
Sitting comfortably?
Buns in the oven ~ D - F.
So, where were we?
Omarina has had babies A to C: Aileen, Boyd and Cormag. She has also managed to snag Komei Tellerman (now Bun) and presently has baby "D" in the oven - and it's not Komei's.
That reminds me, I must get round to start making some kind of family tree, I bet none of you can remember that baby D is fathered by Nikki Turner, the Uni coach. Hell, even I have to check my notes sometimes to make sure I give you the right details.
I am quite relieved to find that Omarina's CAS dad, Sailor, does not seem to be passing on his huge nose genes on to his grandchildren, indeed they seem to be getting Omarina's nose, which is good news for Boyd especially, as his dad is what you can safely call "genetically challenged".
And staying with Sailor for a moment, he still loves to come and pick his grandchildren up when they are at their smelliest.
He also has a habbit of staying for longer than his old bones can handle.
And you thought I was kidding about the huge conk? Look - it's poking through the table for crying out loud.
Now the time has come to see how Omarina and Faxe's genes have mixed in little Cormag.
Is it just me or does it look like the bunny head is drinking smart milk? :P
Sweet enough, and I think I will let him keep that hair.
Cromag is Gemini 3/8/7/5/4. Very level for a 1/4 alien.
Toddler skills learnt. You are going to see a lot of these.
The next evening it's Boyd's turn at the cake. I don't know why I bothered splashing out on the cake when I could just have clicked "Grow up" but once it was bought I just thought it would be too cruel to take it away again.
He grew up happy, but that hair really does not suit him.
"Young man, your energy is in the red, get to bed right away."
"But I want cake!"
"Ugh >yawn<"
"Go to bed boy, and make sure you change that hair first thing in the morning. I don't want you looking like me when you're not even mine."
Komei, there really is no need to scan that one, anyone can see whose he is.
Boyd (with his new hair) learnt his homework.
As baby D enters the Bun house hold, Komei could hardly have been less attentive.
Meet Donella. A little girl with dark blue eyes, black hair and skin#1. Is she a clone of her "dad" I wonder?
Now the oven is empty it's time to find some more dough for Omarina to bake (ugh, my puns really suck today) and as Komei seems quite uninterested at the moment, I thought it was a fine time for Omarina to go and meet up with an old friend.
"Why am I fixing all his broken things again?!"
Because you are so nice, that's why.
And Mr. Mystery is more than appreciative...
... and only too happy to hand over another "donation".
*click* And Bun "E" is in the oven.
Erm, yes. Does anyone know how to delete the tombstone of L&D from the Mysterious Hut? It's getting rather in the way of poor Mr. Mystery's skipping. :P
Back at the hotel Omarina gets some well deserved R & R.
She also got friendly with this BV townie whom I think has quite interesting genetics. I guess he could be the brown-haired dad.
But OOooo look what I spotted, he's a bit of alright too. *fanns self*
Moments later the buzz-cut BV townie fell greatly in my estimation when he stole Omarina's plate of food. Geesh man, not only is she actually quite poor; she also is very hungry and in a very delicate condition.
The handsome local guy then went to stare down the rude BV townie. Good man! We like him.
OK, I think I know what I will do: Handsome Local Guy can be the brown haired dad and Rude Buzz-cut can become the zombie dad. Hah!
Thankfully Omarina is a resourceful girl; she helped herself to the balding BV townie's food and heartbarfed him for good measure. Well, eccentric behavior is acceptable when you are pregnant, right?
Anyhow, Omarina's little holiday is over now, her needs are dropping so fast I'm getting worried about her, so she's catching the first shuttle home.
And she arrives just in time for Aileen's growing up.
There, finally an extra pair of hands.
Aileen rolled Family/Fortune and her hobby is fitness.
Family we can do, in a big way too. Fortune - not so much, not yet at least. Hobby? Forget it!
Komei of course is happy to have his wife back, though I do get the feeling he is rather fed up with her clogging up the toilet all the time.
Baby E did it's first pop outside in the darkness, which I thought was reasonably fitting for a little Witch Doctor spawn. It's got to be at least a little bit mysterious.
Nothing mysterious about little Donella growing up, other than I didn't manage to get a confetti picture.
"Oh look everyone; she is giving me the thumbs-up."
And here is toddler Donella Bun, just after being put down on the floor, because - never mind the birthday child - everyone MUST have cake, just dump the new toddler on the floor so she can go and explore the toilet or/and questionable puddles.
As you can see she looks almost nothing like Omarina, that coach lady sure has some strong genes.
But I think Donella is very sweet all the same.
And just for the record, she never went for the toilet nor indeed questionable puddles. She is a clever little one.
Only moments later it was Cormag's turn at doing the sparkle twist.
Aaah yes, nothing like growing up stinky. Off to the shower, boy.
Happy families.
Heh, Cormag was sick straight after this picture was taken. Not the brightest bulb. Those alien genes are not really working for him.
But how about our sweet little Boyd? Although I haven't caught any proper creepy-smiles from him yet, I must say he does use his big mouth and all his 10 nice points to do a lot of smiling.
Donella learnt her toddler skills. I missed the walking one but surely you don't need that one as you can clearly see her walking away from Omarina just after learning to talk.
Cormag learnt his homework from Komei, but because he didn't for some reason get a doodaad I will show you this picture which I only took because I thought it was funny that Komei had chosen to stand on top of Aileen's homework.
Alright alright, I'll show you the memory for it too, but only because the boy was so overjoyed about it.
Also, from now on you will start notice improvements on the house, but only as far as my poor building/decorating skills can stretch.
Komei has reached the top of the career he had when he moved in, so now it's time to try and get him that job in the medicine career which will grant him his LTW when he reaches the top.
After that I will try and get him to top as many careers as possible so you will soon see him around the place in all sorts of outfits.
Naturally, what Komei can do, Omarina can do better. I mean, who else can pull off getting a promotion when they go to work in their PJs?

Talking about the PJs for a bit, Omarina is pregnant here, but unfortunately even the Maxis PJs I changed her into doesn't want pregnancy morph.
The mysterious swap of PJs happens when Omarina is wearing her regular maternity PJs (which are white) and then puts on the thinking cap, then suddenly she is wearing her black PJs and doesn't look pregnant at all. Very confusing.
This picture is just to show that one of Omarina's voodoo dolls is on the top shelf, out of her inventory, so I can't be tempted to use it.
The other voodoo doll was given to Aileen as she can use it perfectly legally.
And it worked....

"Yes! I get to clean the cooker too?!"
Heh, don't feel sorry for her, she has 10 neat points and gets fun from cleaning.
Then one dark night, as the pale frosty moon shone on the hardy strawberry plants, the night was rent with a cry so intense that only powerful magic could have induced it. It was indeed the time for the Witch Doctor's baby to be born.
Oh yeah Komei, just go ahead and spoil the mysterious mood with your ill-chosen heartfart.
And so, as the midnight stars looked down on Pleasantview, the little black-haired grey-eyed (skin#2) boy was born. His name shall be - Euan.
"Yay mum, you had a baby. Cool!"
"La la la, I just came out here to build a lovely snowman."
Seeing Komei is being silly just now (and the fact it wasn't quite midnight yet) Omarina headed for the nearest community lot which had a photo booth, and called up her old Uni friend - Prof. Todd GilsCarbo.
There really isn't much to say other than the deed was done on the first try.
Bun F is in the oven.
"Excuse me Mr. Bun, can you give your wife these flowers from me as a thank you for the Dream Date she just gave me?"
"Ooooo stars, beautiful shiny stars."
Before I knew it, it was time for Donella to grow up.
And with some lovely CC hair she is actually very pleasing to the eye.
But what is this? Stinky baby Euan on the floor - this can only mean one thing....
... dopey nanny alert. Doesn't she just look terribly constipated here?
And serving instant meals? Well, at least she isn't setting the cooker on fire then.
I thought having Komei greet the headmaster in his Captain Hero costume might impress, but really, that nanny heartfart doesn’t impress anyone.
I'm most disappointed that this excellent room only got a shrug. OK so there is a book on the floor, but surely it's only a good thing the kids are interested in books, and sure there are drawings "messing up" the toddler activity table, but surely it just shows the kids can be creative.
Nevertheless, Aileen, Boyd, Cormag and Donella made it into Private school, and that in spite of Sailor being rather smelly after hanging round the house all day.
Unfortunately Aileen only got one day in private school before I shuffled her off to Uni. At least she should be quite comfortably off with those scholarships.
I will make sure to show you a pic or two of her at Uni at a later date. Until then, it's bye bye from Aileen.

And Euan grew up cuuuute! He is an Aquarius with a 4/3/4/6/10 personality.
So, I think it's safe to say that Mr. Mystery has some fine genes, probably much the same as Grimmy.
That voodoo doll on the shelf behind will naturally become Euan's as soon as he is old enough to use it.
Soon he too learnt his toddler skills.
Donella learnt to study homework from Captain Hero, does it get any better?
She only just manages to get away from the desk before Boyd grows up in it.
Oh dear plumbbob almighty!
Boyd rolled Fortune/Pleasure and his hobby is fitness.
I tried to give him a beard or a mustache, but that only made his mouth appear bigger. This really is as good as he gets.
And talking of good, Donella is by far the fastest skilling child in the house, and I am in a good mind to try and get her to achieve the "all scholarships" bonus for me.
Luckily Omarina has the SS Cowplant in her inventory, and luckily Donella's "dad" is easy to call and invite over for a bit of cow cake. *evil cackle*
Ah yes, I was wondering when he'd show up, I have been deliberately neglecting to pay the bills just so I could get him to come.
This repo guy is definitely on the babydaddy-to-be list, now I just have to wait for him to show up on a day when Omarina is not pregnant.
The following evening Omarina choose to, yet again, give birth out of doors.
Observe how Komei is still in denial about the whole thing.
