Not a question of "if" but "when"
Talking about irreparable corruption of hard drives.
My sims 2 are all gone.
Not in a fiery ball of smoke but through slow and steady corruption of my hard drive, which I noticed too late to restore my game from backup; I'm worried it'll carry whatever corruption it was that caused the meltdown.
I'm gutted. My OWBC won't be done, and my WYD was so close to being completed! I can officially label them as "Won't be continued." Darn!
Still; life goes on and I now have a brand new hard drive, and though I am sad I am also looking forward to re-installing the game and starting afresh. For one, it gives me a chance to really keep my downloads tidy. I know downloading stuff for my sims will cheer me up because it's like shopping for free! :D
And my first challenge to play and publish will naturally be Fuzzy's TPC.
