Questions from Jo and Fuzzy

Questions from Jo:

1. How did you come to live in Scotland?(thinks about kilts but won't ask that one ;)Once upon a time there was a postal worker who wanted to see the world. She wanted to try something new and her nice secure job position even allowed her to take an unpaid sabbatical year. She then chose Scotland as her destination because she ( Read more... )

You go girl! You and your Scottish farmers son ;)
Well, my maiden name is Murdock, so yeah...lots of Scottish in me, but i doubt i'd eat Haggis. I'm pretty squeamish with food.
That probably means I wouldn't survive on a a tropical island either...unless there were hotels.

I feel slightly attracted to said bad boy. I have a thing for them ;)

Ah, you have Scottish roots? That's so funny. You might like the haggis from my local butcher, it really is very nice. Just try not to think too much about the contents.

Said bad boy was very attractive, so I don't doubt you would have found him attractive too. Why are we so attracted to those bad boys when they will likely make us feel sad in the end?

Thank you Lea, I don't know if I'd call it awesome but I guess it is a bit unusual. ;)
I never meant to stay in Scotland though, I was only going to stay the year and then go back to my job as a post woman, but fate had other ideas.

I actually like good quality haggis. Unfortunately that's hard to find over here! D: Oddly, Bravefart can't stand the stuff! Of course the way his mother (rest her soul) prepared it, I can understand why. o__o

For #1 I almost said "outside of your lifetime" but then you wouldn't have picked such a sweet answer then. ;D I would definitely want to see ancient Egypt during a time when the Pharaohs ruled, early on before all those Greeks started messing stuff up. Three days without air conditioning would be my absolute limit. lol

Yay! Fuzzy likes haggis!!
How did Bravefart's mother prepare it?

Well, I did consider historical events in past times (and future) but I thought it would be nice to do something that was personal to me.

They were good questions Fuzzy, thanks. :)

I don't know what she did to it! D: I only had it once (Spock was like "Granny's making REAL Scottish haggis tonight, woo!") and it was... very soupy and a bitter taste I can only associate with stomach bile. I can't think of another way to describe it! It was NOTHING like the haggis my high school friend's Scottish-born mother used to make. Which was rich and flavorful and not watery at all. It even smelled good. Not Granny's though! That woman (rest her soul) had something against me anyway, maybe she made it like that just to see me try to keep it down at the dinner table. lol

lol - but you did keep it down, didn't you? So she must have considered you as having passed the test. Stomach bile -

I had wondered about Jo's #1 as well. I think that is a really sweet story.

Since I seem to be having a run of some what better thinking during the middle of the day for a couple of hours, I would like to see what kind of questions you can come up with for me. :D

Thank you so much. :)

Alright, here's something to keep you busy:

1. What are the contents of your fridge?

2. How did you meet your husband?

3. What was your favorite part about going to Disneyland?

4. Housework - best and worst; what is your pet hate and what will you (almost) gladly do?

5. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I love the story of why you moved to Scotland. Too cute. :)
That firstly kissed boyfriend of yours sure sounds like he was a winner! *coughcough* Although I do understand the attractiveness and wonder of a bad boy. I may or may not have dated one certain cute bad boy in the past for a few weeks as well.
