Questions from Jo and Fuzzy

Questions from Jo:

1. How did you come to live in Scotland?(thinks about kilts but won't ask that one ;)

Once upon a time there was a postal worker who wanted to see the world. She wanted to try something new and her nice secure job position even allowed her to take an unpaid sabbatical year. She then chose Scotland as her destination because she felt a special affinity with the place (I blame Runrig YouTube link, don't know if you can all see it were you are) and soon managed to get in touch with an elderly Highland farmer who was happy to take her on as a helping hand on the farm for a year in spite of her having no farming experience. The farmer had four grown children, of whom only the youngest son at 23 was still living at home and the postal worker girl soon found herself enthralled by the Scottish Highlands as well as the farmer's youngest son. The rest, as they say; is history.

And Jo - about the kilts; what you have heard is most likely true. ;)

2. Do you really eat haggis?

Oh absolutely! We have it every Burns Night, as well as other times throughout the year. Funnily enough all my kids like it. I only get Haggis from our local butcher though, I don't like the ones the supermarkets churn out.

3. How many sim challenges have you tried?

Six I think: Abandoned babes, Poverty, Asylum, OWBC, WYD and the Legacy challenge.

4. Have you completed any of the above?

lol, only the Abandoned babes and the Asylum ones, they're nice and quick.
I am nearly done with my (unpublished) Poverty challenge, so that can soon be added to the list. And hopefully I am on a home run with my WYD challenge too.

5. What do you procrastinate on the most?

Everything - I even procrastinate on procrastination.
In simming terms; my OWBC. I always get distracted by fellow simmers' stories, stop writing such entertaining stuff guys!

Questions from Fuzzy:

1. If you could go back to any time and place for 3 days, where and when would you visit?

I kinda feel I should choose a date around some kind of historical event, but if I did go somewhere in history I'd probably still only be able to watch from the distance and not get that much out of it anyway.

What I'd choose is go back to when all my grandparents were still alive and simply enjoy being together with them for a few more days, and if I remember - I can ask them all those questions that I now wish I could ask them.

2. Have you ever met a celebrity in person?

Nnnnnot really, like speaking to them face to face? No. But I have seen a few from a distance.

3. Do you use cuss words, curse words, swear words, or dirty words on a regular basis?

I try not to.

Though, when I do it's often in Danish.

4. Do you think you could survive alone on a tropical island for a month?

Would that be with or without Internet connection?

Yeah I think I probably could. I'm not too squeamish and I think I am pretty good at improvising. I think I could be sufficiently creative and inventive to make a shelter for myself and find some way to get food and water. It'll also help that I am not afraid of the dark.

5. When and where was your first REAL kiss? (feel free to change names to protect the guilty)

REAL kiss? I guess the ones I had from my boyfriend when I was five don't count then?

Umm gosh, I was 17. He was the neighbourhood good-looking bad boy and I was amazed he wanted anything to do with me, but we actually gelled very well. We were only together for a few weeks though because he was always high on something and I didn't like that he always had loads of cash floating around and could offer no sound explanation as to where it had come from. :( So yeah, I didn't stick around with him.
