Because I am easily distracted
While I was on holiday...
when managing to sneak some computer time...
while I should have been reading the threads and stories I follow...
while my own challenges were crying out to be played and written...
... I got distracted with the GOS "Good Genes III" challenge.
I (very unwisely as it turns out) decided to go for a non-handsome spouse for Sy Snootles, in this case a pizza delivery guy called Christian (didn't take a note of his surname).
After 100 Simoleons Christian was easily persuaded to accept Sy's invitation to come and visit.
I don't know how, but it seems Christian was spawned with some CC eyes I have rolling about my downloads folder.
But heh - the eyes were the least of my worries.
So they were married and I even managed to capture a kiss pic in which it doesn't look like Christian is choking on Sy's protruding mouth.
The best entertainment of the challenge was undoubtedly seeing Sy wearing various types hats and helmets.
Anyhow, Mr and Mrs Snootles soon had two daughters (who are clones so only one pic is needed) and who VERY disappointedly also turned out to be clones of their dad. The only thing they inherited from Sy is, as you see, the skin.
But - the rules said three children and the last baby was a boy so I had my fingers crossed for a Sy-lookalike... but no, unfortunately Christian's genes were stronger than Sy's, at which point I decided to give up the challenge.
Even poor Sy looks quite lost for words.
Oh well, it was by this time very close to the end of my holiday and I was running out of time to play it anyway.
On a side note; Sy's daughters are rather awesome in their own special way and I don't think I'll stop playing them, so it wasn't all bad.
