confusion

So, my hubby will be back from the desert in like six days.  I am so anxious that I'm smoking like a chimney, I can't eat and I can't sleep.  I'm exhausted.  I have grown so much in the last four months and I have become so much more independant that I can't even fathom going back to my life centering around him.  I've already told him that I can't ( Read more... )

Reading your post really makes me so proud of you. I don’t know your husband at all, he must be a good guy for you to have married him right? So, I think that he’ll see your changes, he’ll know you have more confidence, he’ll know you are stronger, and he’ll respect that, and love you even more for it. Mark constantly tells me to not be down on myself, that I have no reason to be, and he is right! Women just have a tendency to do that to themselves… well I think that anyways. I think that you and your husband will only have a better relationship now. You just can’t let it go back to the way it was, you know that, so don’t let it happen. Keep on doing what you are doing, he’ll respect that. He’ll be floored with you and you know it :D *hug*

I don't think you're making too much of the situation. This is obviously something that concerns you.

So, here's the deal. The moment he gets home, tell him how you feel. If he wants to pretend its no big deal even after you mention how important it is to you... then you'll have further issues to work out. Either way, work on compromise and strength. Don't let anyone push you back into something you are not.
